Azdesigned Electronic Products, LLC has been providing design services since 2000. We are an Arizona Limited Liability Corporation engaged in hardware product development, new and redesign. Our objective has been to develop new products from concept producing a working model inclusive of all feature design elements. In providing design services, we have been able to assist in generating numerous patents for our customer over the years. We have over 34 years experience in product development where our primary focus is on hardware development in embedded design. We have working relationships with software, mechanical, plastics, assemblers and raw materials companies, including offshore resources that work closely together with us to provide design capabilities for the entire development cycle.
What We Do
New product development is a good indicator of a company’s health looking to the future. Azdesigned has a design history of enabling companies to grow into the future with new product releases for improved sales in new and existing markets. Our primarily focus is in low power and solar powered products, embedded design for handheld battery operated devices reaching across a wide range of industry markets. In smaller projects the electronic hardware, mechanical, and embedded code are typically kept in house. Larger projects where more resources are needed our partners are brought in as needed to assist in the project development and managed to a schedule by Azdesigned. Integration of the hardware, mechanical and software are carefully monitored to insure a quality product. In most cases, the pilot production is based from the initial prototype design with very few changes from the original concept giving our customers very low investment cost in development and quick time to market response.
Azdesigned is also able to provide product manufacturing services. In many cases the customer needs turnkey finished product manufactured and we provide as requested. Close customer relations provide a unique ability for fast time to market of the product and if changes in the product design are needed.

Completed Products & Projects
Liquid Propane Automatic Detection and Shut Off System - for LPG delivery vehicles. A system we patented that provided an ability to detect a leak in the delivery hose in a tenth of a second and shut off delivery system and gas flow in as little 30 seconds.
Desktop Laser Cutting Machine – Designed the power and control systems on a laser cutting system for Architects interested in making model buildings and structures while keeping the product in a price range for the hobbyist.
Automated Gift Card Dispensing System – Designed a card dispensing machine to allow the consumer to purchase gift cards autonomously from a kiosk type machine for a particular shopping center, store or outlet.
Security System - utilizing Linear Technologies RF sensors which interfaced to the Internet and managed by the Owner – A unique design slated for the consumer where they could provide their monitoring and alerts from an internet portal.
Video Security System (4 Camera) Designed specifically for Linear Technologies for monitoring the elderly with alerts and pictures to your cell phone or email.
Handheld Camera Imaging Device – Designed to allow data to be assigned to a picture or pictures without intervention after taken. The data entered into assigned fields prior to taking pictures is kept with the picture and automatically uploaded to a destination online or network drive location.
Military Helmet Light and Camera Interface to DVR for Armor Holdings now BAE Systems. A custom design of lighting and video implemented into an infantry combat helmet to record video and provide personal lighting.
Designed a low cost “Hardware Only” solution for Airbag deployment in Military Helicopters and fixed wing aircraft.
Variable Data Laser Array (VDL) designed to allow track and trace of individual Pharmaceutical Pills, Military product with UID requirement, vegetable produce or any product where track and trace is needed.
Co2 Laser System to provide the laser mark needed for the VDL system. Designed modifications to an existing laser to meet production requirements of Lasec Systems.
SolarTrac® System - designed to follow the sun, a Solar Powered Sun Tracking System requiring no outside power and no battery to store energy for the controller to drive a mirror array to bring low angle sun in through a skylight thereby reducing the need for AC power to provide lighting in classrooms, ware houses, food centers, etc most effective during the early morning and later afternoon hours. Customer energy savings realized to date are in the millions of dollars.
PaneTrac® - System designed to increase the efficiency of the panel. With full Azimuth and Elevation drive versions the Solar Panel Tracker will keep the solar panel array pointed at the sun. This design is unique to the industry in that it manages the shadow effect when placing panels tightly together in PV Solar farms.
Energy Cell® - System designed to Store Energy that eliminates the need for chemical batteries in off grid solar applications, eliminating the maintenance factor giving solar applications 500,000 to 1 million charge/discharge cycles. A set and forget technology providing 20 years of maintenance free service. Patent Applications are filed on the Energy Cell Solution and associated Storage Solutions.

Ron Bindl – Founder & CEO
Founder & CEO of Azdesigned Electronic Products, LLC trained in electronic design engineering, brings 35 years of product design and development experience in small, large and embedded systems design to develop the next generation of microprocessor based electronic and energy saving products. Experienced in numerous engineering disciplines has completed projects to include design of frame, desk top and portable electronic systems as well as product design for reduced manufacturing cost, improved reliability and reduced lead-time in high volume product manufacturing. As the Hardware Development Manager for Hypercom Inc., a provider of Point of Sale terminals, Mr. Bindl designed the latest Point Of Sale terminal product offerings. As Vice President of Engineering and Operations for OFNA Components, Mr. Bindl fine-tuned operations to gain a 10 fold production throughput improvement in as little six months. As Director of Engineering and Operations for Dytel Corporation was responsible for the design and development of the patented “Automated Attendant” used in all of today’s telecommunications systems around the world. Mr. Bindl’s greatest strength is taking projects from concept through design to production while managing on and off shore resources to minimize supply chain lead times.
